Like many of you. I was around Southside Birmingham, AL when 105.9 the bear was around in the mid to late 90's, then came 107.7 The X. Which you could listen to damn near up in Huntsville, AL. I grew to love The X, and i miss all the wonderful concerts at Airwave studios, the 5 points south music hall, and many other venues. I recently went back to Birmingham and was NOT impressed with the city as i once knew at all. Dont get me wrong I have a huge heart for Birmingham but am just at a loss for words as to what happened to all the wonderful vibes you used to feel in Birmingham.

I remember the old Terminal Station well also. When I was a child, my Mother, brother and I would take my Dad there to catch the train. He was with the Postal Service and worked on the mail car of the train. We would have to go back and pick him up when the train came back through later in the week. I loved that building and really hate to know that it is not there any more.

The same exact thing just happened at my Dad's house. The crack came down the center of his living room and next thing you know the whole darn ceiling came down.

Broke 57" Plasma TV as well as falling on new leather couches, etc., etc.

Insurance just DENIED US! What the hell!

Does anyone have any further comments or suggestions? Did the lawyer come up with any suggestions or ideas on what could be done to avoid the out of pocket expenses!

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

I've just seen the dumbest commercial about VW's.There's a black man with a vw salesman, below them is a white man with his girl friend ,who is oriental, looking at a vw.Everytime he gets close to the car ,the black man presses the alarm. What does this mean?
How is this telling me to by this car?

How may I find the an old VW commercial? The one advertising the braking system with the couple and the wrong video return to blockbuster? I really need to find this because it actually happened to me.

Thanks,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the name of the band in the new VW commercial....it's the commercial with two guys in the front, and the salesman in the back seat, and the passenger realizes that the VW has an mp3 player jack, and they turn up the music and jam out while the salesman tries to tell them about the features (and his words are subtitled). If anyone could help, that would be great.

I remember the old Terminal Station quite well. I was allowed to take train trips to Fayette Al and also Atlanta Ga when I was 12 years old and older. I am now 76 and grew up in the western section of Bham and still live there. My aunt had a boarding house (a large two story building next to the Terminal) She served the best food in town and the train personnel would go there to eat her fabulous meals. Her boarding house was across the street from Jebs Seafood, She would take me to the Terminal and take me all through, I thought it was the largest and most beautiful building in Bham. What a shame it could not have been put to some use.
