While I have travelled to many places (Europe, the Carribean, Asia), there is no place quite like Birmingham. I visit there as often as possible, and am looking forward to the day that I am home to stay. For those of you who complain and can't wait to leave, I say go. Sometimes it takes time away to appreciate the wonderful things Birmingham has to offer. As a native Birminghamian who has lived in the DC area for the past 20 years, I hold dear and near my heart my days in the Ham. While I have travelled to many places (Europe, the Carribean, Asia), there is no place quite like Birmingham. I visit there as often as possible, and am looking forward to the day that I am home to stay.
