Cue the cheezy Noooooo scream from StarWars Episode III.
One of the only funny shows on TV has been canceled. (Well, canceled according some sources and “In trouble” from others. Regardless, the order has been cut from 22 to 13 episodes for this season).
Arrested Development rewards smart viewers and unfortunately that’s probably why people don’t watch it. They’re just not smart enough to get it.

A-motivated is the name of the game.
I *hate* VB6.
Someone please kill me (or give me another job)…
But on an uplifting note HelluvaBlog is back online…
And Mr. Horsepower has been kicking out some outstanding music reviews. Check out his Made/Remade series that’s showcasing some very interesting covers that have been made.

Have you ever seen something funny (funny as in Dorky funny) on the Internet?
Chances are that the goons over at Something Awful (hereforth referred to as SA) either created it, or nudged it out of Internet obscurity and into mainstream obscurity.
Well, the goons have formed GBStv (that’s Goon Broadcasting Service Television) which can be found over at http://gbstv.info.
Nerdy comedy, user submitted movies, student films, pirated commercial TV shows that are now part of the public domain (thank you referer logs, you not only tell me who finds my site, but you sometimes even tell me when I’m wrong), etc. Watch enjoy, eat up your employer’s bandwidth.

I had a weird dream last night dude
we were all watching football
and UAB didnt commit a bunch of turnovers
and then they ran the ball [very well, ed.]
and then they won
it was weird, it felt almost real
UAB 37 Memphis 20
It’s not too much of a surprise though because I knew 2 things going into this season:
Southern Miss would beat UAB for the 6th time in a row (and they did).
UAB would beat Memphis for the 6th time in a row (and we did).
I was honestly a bit scared during most of the first half. We dropped 4 key passes early in the game (including 2 in the endzone).
But after we traded interceptions with Memphis late in the 2nd quarter, the game was all UAB.
We scored 20 unanswered points in the second half and we held the Tigers to a big goose egg
.
I also saw something that I haven’t seen all season long: Animated coaching on the sidelines. You could tell that the coaches (especially Watson and Bolt) had a lot riding on this game (namely their jobs). They were emotional, they were yelling, they were excited. I’m not changing my opinion of the current coaching staff (I still want a complete coaching change at UAB), but I’m glad to see that they’re at least back into the game.
