Flip C just drove back to Huntsville in my beloved 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS.
She was a good fun car.
I don’t know if I’ll ever own a car that was as balls to the wall modified as that one was. But it sure was fun, and the experience I gained from wrenching on her is priceless.
Luckily, she’s going to a good home. Philip is a ScoobyNut much like myself. He actually owned a car nearly exactly like mine that met its untimely death a few months back thanks to a 3 day veteran of driving
.
Philip is getting her in a stockish form. Sans turbo, suspension, big brakes, and electronic goodies. But he’s got plans of his own for her
Well, out with the old, in with the new

A better pic is coming, I promise!
250 ponies, and 250 ft/lbs of torque to haul my groceries and new baby around with.
All that and All Wheel Drive too
I’m still in the break in period, so she’s yet to see anything north of 4000RPM (and it already puts a smile on my face).
This car is fun to drive, it hauls ass and groceries, and it’s got plenty of room for my family of about to be 3.
Sport-Utilities are so inappropriately named…

This is better than reading a ‘Highlights’ magazine with a 3 year old in my lap!
