She’s not even born yet, and she’s already got pictures on the internet…

Yes, I said she, we found out today that Fairlyn Elizabeth Cooke appears healthy and is the exact size she should be for her July 31st arrival date.
So I guess I’m ready for ~12 years of joy followed ~15 years of complete fear…. At least I hope the fear doesn’t start for another 12 years….
I just read the most interesting blog entry (although it’s nearly 1 year old) about Google, the massive server infrastructure they have created, the brilliant people that work there, and what could happen when all three of those things mesh.

It’s highly interesting and as long as Google can stand by their Mantra of “Do no Evil.”, I think we’ll all be ok.
The BDSM (Birmingham Drunken Scooby Modders) crew went to huntsville this weekend little Rally-X action.
new pic!

I must say this is my most favorite thing to do in a car, nothing beats an AWD drift on dirt.
All of us were n00bs to this form of motorsport but we didn’t do to bad. Three of us had a 1 2 3 finish in our class, and a 3 4 5 finish over all. We showed them all the Beauty of Subaru All Wheel Drive

Rally on!
Tonight I get the pleasure of a 24 hour test drive from Jim Burke Subaru.
I will be taking home a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited similar to the one below:

Now for those of you that think I’m getting soft in my old age by thinking of driving a wagon, know this:
250HP 250lb/ft of All Wheel Drive Fury is hiding under that tame wagon facade…..
The only drawback is that Jim Burke only has an automatic in stock… Now there’s no way I’ll be buying an automatic, but it’s worth a test drive anyway
…
Until then…
So, I’m actually noticing that a few people read this, and I wanted to get some feedback on my stylesheets (that’s what makes the website looks the way it does for you non-Dorks out there).
So take a look to your right and play around with the style chooser.
The one you’re looking at (dark blue background) is the only one that I’ve customized. So some of the other things I’ve customized (Like my Audioscrobbler cache, and the related posts thing) may not show up correctly in the other styles. (Of course, some things still aren’t quite right in my main style either).
I know that I need to do something about the space between Comments and related posts, and I know that the date is a bit hard to read on that background, and I also wanted to change the header image to something slightly more, um…. less boring…
Maybe something like this:

Well, something flashy like that, not something Lord of the Rings like that…
Anyway, let me know what you think, and if you’re having any issues with anything (unless of course you’re using Internet Explorer). But if you are, for some strange reason, still using IE, check out FireFox. Its faster, annoying popups and spyware will be a thing of the past, and it will display the web (and my website) the way it was meant to be seen, not the way Micro$oft deems correct.
What say ye?
